Beth cares deeply about how the mind, body, emotions and beliefs translate into health or dis-ease. She started her career in business in America, but after 12 successful years she had a yearning to pursue a new career in natural health to align with her personal passions.
In 2000 Beth earned a Medical Massage Therapy degree from the Virginia School of Massage in Charlottesville, Virginia, USA. Working with the body, she very quickly became enamoured with the fascial system’s role in our body’s structure, movements and physiological functioning. Over the years Beth has expanded her knowledge and understanding through many mind, body, fascial and energetic studies including BodyTalk, nutrition, energy medicine, Eastern philosophies, and shamanic practices.
In 2007 Beth moved to New Zealand and found a growing interest in the fascial system among hands on and movement practitioners. She developed courses in Myofascial Release and began teaching throughout the country in 2011. Ongoing she has created her own mind body and subtle approach to working with fascia through Fascial Unwinding, as well as techniques to specifically work with scars and adhesions.
Beth loves to teach practitioners how to ‘unwind the body from outside in’ and ‘unwind the body from the inside out’. She is a passionate and enthusiastic fascial educator and has spoken at conferences for Massage Aotearoa New Zealand, Hand Therapy New Zealand, Exercise New Zealand, the Holistic Pulsing Guild, and the Australasian Lymphology Association.
She has a private practice in Nelson, NZ, but spends much of her time teaching courses throughout New Zealand.

Jenny’s massage career began in 2001 at The Lotus Holistic Centre where she attained a Diploma in Therapeutic Massage. She went on to study naturopathy and herbal medicine; but it was massage, anatomy and addressing the nervous system that became her primary focus. In 2005 Jenny began teaching at The Lotus Holistic Centre - relaxation massage, therapeutic massage, reflexology, theory of massage, client assessment, research and muscular anatomy; and continued for many years as her kids grew up.
In 2019 Jenny invited Beth to The Lotus Centre to teach Myofascial Release. After attending all three courses over six days, she was totally enamoured with fascia. She recalls the first moment of mindfully sinking into the fascia that it was like coming home.
And so began her very focused and enthusiastic journey into fascia and myofascial release. She quickly became a certified MFR practitioner and then worked toward MFR teacher training with Fascia IQ.
Since joining the team Jenny has created the Functional Myofascial Anatomy course to help practitioners deepen their myofascial anatomy and physiology knowledge, enhance their palpation skills and develop their ‘knowing hands’. Jenny loves sharing her knowledge and passion about fascia with hands-on and movement therapists.
In Jenny’s words, “Fascia absolutely rocks my world”!
